Chris Stapleton Live at the o2 Arena

On Thursday night my husband and I went to see Chris Stapleton at the o2 Arena in London! The tickets were my wedding gift to Tom as we're huge Chris Stapleton fans in this house. Our first dance at our wedding was to Tennessee Whiskey, which made me shed a happy tear when he played it live.

We had such good seats, there was only two chairs in our row so it was just us two, no one was seated in front of us so we didn't have anyone blocking our view. I honestly can't believe our luck. Because our phone contracts are with o2 we were able to go into the shorter queue for merch, we didn't have to queue up to enter the arena and we were able to go into one of the o2 priority bars which had a DJ playing country music - it was great!

We stayed at the Park Plaza County Hall Hotel and when checking in had a pleasant surprise of being upgraded for free to one of their Junior Suites. The room was really nice, it was really big, bed was very comfortable, I appreciated the big living area with huge wardrobe and vanity area when getting ready for the concert. We had a view of Big Ben from the window and it was a 5 minute walk from Waterloo Station. I'd definitely stay there again.

I found choosing an outfit for this concert really difficult. I was torn on whether to dress up but I didn't want to lug a suitcase round London so I went casual. I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking and I also knew I'd be hot on the tube. I wore my flared jeans and western boots though so I still kept to the theme but I wasn't as dressed up as others. Some of the outfits that others wore were incredible.

The jacket I wore is one my best friend lent to me ages ago and I'd forgot I still had it. It was perfect. I've linked one similar to this jacket below.
